André François is a Brazilian photographer, author of 6 books and who for over 30 years has been making photographic documentaries in Brazil and around the world. In 1995, he founded ImageMagica, an NGO that develops social impact projects across the country. Since 2006, André has carried out an extensive photographic record in the health area: he has already visited more than 100 hospitals and medical centers under the most different aspects, recording important attitudes of caregivers and also the reality of access to health. André is currently developing the project: Ubuntu – Eu Sou Because We Are, a photographic documentary that aims to raise awareness about the importance of health and quality of life through care and the connection between people.
